The Department of Nursing at Adıyaman University's Faculty of Health Sciences began providing nursing education in the 1997-1998 academic year within the Adıyaman School of Health, affiliated with İnönü University.
Adıyaman University was established with Law No. 5467, which went into effect on March 1, 2006, and Adıyaman School of Health was affiliated with the newly established university.
Adıyaman School of Health was transformed into a Faculty of Health Sciences by the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette No. 31058 dated March 4, 2020.
Our faculty continues to train healthcare professionals in the field of nursing who possess scientific knowledge, ethical values, and a sense of social responsibility.
